My Creations & Source of Inspiration

I design and hand craft wearable art including bracelets, earrings, necklaces, rings, and shawl & hair pins as well as petit coffrets. Created by manipulating metal sheet & wire from raw form, techniques involved include cutting, shaping, hammering, soldering, rolling, stamping, & bezeling, with the integration of foraged pieces of sea glass, beach weathered rocks, precious & semi precious stones, and beads. My designs embody a contemporary and original essence while maintaining a classic timeless aesthetic. Reflecting the fluidity of human life & adapting to diverse lifestyles and moods, it transitions effortlessly from casual daywear to elegant evening attire.

Living on the coast of Maine provides me with an endless source of inspiration from nature as the seasons, like the tides that toss these treasures, ebb and flow.  My creativity is fed by the ocean and beach and the shapes, textures and patterns found in nature, architecture and textiles.

My petit coffrets creations are delightfully elegant treasures designed to house hors d’oeuvre picks, matches, and the like or left enchantingly uninhabited for secretive keepsakes of your choosing.

At the heart of my craft lies a desire to create pieces that evoke joy, enhance self-confidence, and serve as symbols of self expression.
